WasteZero’s user-centric dashboard empowers volunteers to make an impact on their own schedule. Upon logging in, volunteers can easily access all available food orders in their designated area, with filters for pickup times and locations. Our dashboard highlights urgent orders that are about to expire, allowing volunteers to claim or remove orders as needed. Volunteers can also track the amount of food they’ve saved using intuitive data visualizations, and invite friends to volunteer for extra kudos. Once an order is claimed, WasteZero makes it effortless to update the status and ensures the drop-off location is ready, with fast assistance available if any issues arise.

2. Efficient Business Dashboard
For business organizations, WasteZero simplifies the donation process by allowing a designated point of contact (such as a facilities manager) to quickly place orders. With just a few fields to fill out, orders can be entered into the system in seconds. Businesses can monitor the status of their orders in real-time, see when they’re claimed, and receive an ETA on when a ZeroWaste volunteer will arrive for pickup. Our compelling dashboards provide businesses with an overview of their impact, complete with downloadable reports and forms for tracking donations and sharing their progress.

3. AI-Powered Assistance with HeroBot

Our AI assistant, HeroBot, enhances the WasteZero experience by optimizing pickup routes for volunteers and scheduling orders faster based on previous patterns. HeroBot also provides real-time FAQs, statistics on food waste reduction, and additional ways to contribute beyond food donations. Whether a business wants to make monetary contributions or provide resources, HeroBot offers tailored solutions to maximize their impact.

WasteZero volunteers work closely with community organizations, such as Alchemy in San Francisco, to distribute meals and build meaningful connections with those in need.
